CBD's Geography - Map of CBD
In the center of Camp Blue Diamond is the lake. To the north of the lake is the Retreat Center, which consists of the Main Lodge, Hemlock Lodge, the Ouch House, and the 10 surrounding, winterized summer camp cabins. From early April through early November this area is used for Outdoor School or Summer Camp. This area is available year-round to rental groups except during the summer camp season: June, July and early August. On the east side of the lake are the Rising Sun and Lakeside cabins. These cabins are available for rental by church, family and other not-for-profit grougs year-round. On the south side of the lake is the RV Family Campground which is open from May 15 - October 15.

Pictured at the top of the this webpage, the Main Lodge is equipped and winterized for year round use, the building accommodates up to 150 people for meals and meetings. Upstairs there's a large meeting room, pictured at the left. The carpeted meeting room has a digital piano, padded chairs, 6' and 8' tables and a sound system. Downstairs there are six bedrooms with a total of 24 beds, and ample restroom and shower facilities. Larger groups can use the newly built, modern, winterized cabins (which sleep up to 100), which circle the back of the Lodge. Nearby Hemlock (16 beds) and Ouch House (6 beds) cabins are available as extra sleeping and meeting space use by large Main Lodge groups too.

The Main Lodge is an ideal space for groups of 20 - 150 to relax, worship, play and fellowship. The building has central heat, and a large stone fireplace and woodstove which make it very warm and cozy in the winter. Because of Summer Camp and Outdoor School, the Lodge Kitchen is a state inspected facility (like a restaurant kitchen) and can only be operated by trained staff. Groups using the Main Lodge will receive meals prepared by camp's cooks. Groups of 30 or less, that prefer to prepare their own meals may rent the Lakeside and Rising Sun Cabins. (There is no facility at Camp Blue Diamond for groups of more than 30 that want to cook their own meals.) Smoking, Alcoholic Beverages and Pets are not allowed. Firearms are only allowed for hunting groups, and must be kept in locked vehicles. Hunting is not permitted on camp property. Rates are listed a the bottom of this page.
