Heritage Fair Photos

Thank you to everyone who came out to Heritage Fair last weekend or participated in some way! The weather was perfect and we raised over $29,000 for Camp Blue Diamond and the Middle PA District!! This will go a long way in helping the District's ministries in pastoral care, education, and youth ministry, as well as Camp's summer camp ministry and helping Camp remain a place of retreat and renewal. EWe can't wait to see you next year for another wonderful Heritage Fair! 

This event could not happen without the hundreds of volunteers who parked cars, helped with the auction, served and cooked food, ran children’s activities, worked the bank, took a turn in the dunk tank, entertained or did one of a myriad of other jobs! 

There will be a breakfast served in the lodge from 6:30-8:30am on Saturday. The Polar Bear Plunge will be at 7 am at the lake. Most booths and activities are open from 8:30-3. The dunk tank begins at 9am, communion bread tasting begins at 10am, and the Ministry Support auction under the big tent is 11-1! 

The children's area will include peace flag making, toss games, a bounce house, sawdust pile with hidden coins, scarecrow making, and cookie painting! All kinds of food such as beef and noodles, ham and bean soup, apple butter, apple cider (made on the spot with the cider press!), pies, fudge, hot sausage, walking tacos, and lots more will be available for purchase! There will also be homemade crafts and home items for sale. The auction will feature all kinds of baskets with different items (including Longenberger!), a homemade wooden sconce, a beautiful mandolin, and a stained glass door! 

All money raised during the day directly supports the ministries of Camp Blue Diamond and the Middle PA District Church of the Brethren. These ministries include making summer camp affordable for everyone and pastor/congregation support.
