Sorry this event was cancelled because of the COVID -19 outbreak. Annual Dinner is CBD's major fundraiser of the spring. Camp greatly depends on the funds raised by the dinners to offset summer camp expenses. If you would like to make a donation in lieu of attending, please complete a flyer and mail with your donation.
If you enjoy cooking, and want to learn how to do it better, this is the camp for you! Camp’s Food Service Director Shawnee Rupert will teach campers basic and more advanced cooking skills, recipes they can repeat at home, food presentation, and food safety.

Spring Cooking Camp begins Friday at 7:00 p.m. and ends Sunday at 1 p.m. Limited to 10 campers, so register early! Campers will live and cook in the Rising Sun Cabin.
This annual event is a spiritual retreat centered on our God-gifted creativity. Together we worship God and create beauty though the work of our hands and the love in our hearts.
The weekend is for crafts of all types. Bring your quilt work, cross stitch, knitting, scrap booking… and join the fun! Workshops will be available on Saturday offering opportunities to learn a new skill!

The Father/Son Retreat is a terrific time for sons and dads (grandpas) to spend time together. The retreat begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday & ends at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Come join us as we explore the Bible stories of Daniel and His Friends - Fantastic Tales for boys about being faithful to God, doing the right thing, and facing difficult situations. In addition to Bible time, we’ll play games, go on a night-hike, fish and canoe, cook over a fire, do crafts and ride the Giant Swing. Be sure to bring your sleeping bag, pillow and flashlight. Cost is: $35 for adults, $25 for boys in grades K-8. Register by April 27.
Below is your ticket for this year’s CBD Hoss’s Event on June 14th. Funds from the Hoss Event go toward a special project, which focuses on the summer camp program. Participating Hoss’s include the Duncansville, Huntingdon, Bedford and Lewistown Restaurants.
The Hoss Event is simple! Here’s what you do:
1. Get your family or church gang together to Hoss’s on June 14.
2. Print out the Hoss’s ticket below and distribute to those going.
3. Hand it to the host when ordering.
4. Enjoy a great meal; 20-25% of your bill goes to help camp!
