Campground

For 2025, Blue Diamond's RV Campground will be open May 16 - October 31. New for 2023 is a new, larger central washhouse.  

Camp Blue Diamond operates a Campground with 46 trailer & tent sites and a primitive cabin. Jim & Lisa Golden in Site 28 are the Hosts. All sites include a table, fire ring and water. Both 30 and 50 amp service is available as well as sewage. The washhouses offer toilets, sinks and showers. A dump station, dumpster, firewood and ice are available. Smoking, vaping, alcohol are not allowed. Pets on leashes are.  

Blue Diamond's Family Campground has a family oriented, quiet atmosphere. It is a great place to relax, enjoy nature and have family time. A Wifi hotspot is available in the campground parking lot. A lake and sandy beach are open to guests for swimming and canoeing. Hiking, a small ball court, biking and fishing are available. 

Attractions less than 30 minutes away: Shavers Creek Environmental Center, Lincoln Caverns, PSU and world famous trout fishing in the Little Juniata River. Attractions 30 minutes to 1 hour away: DelGrosso Amusement Park, Raystown, Horseshoe Curve, Penn's Cave, Altoona Curve Minor League Baseball, Altoona Railroader Museum. 

In the Site Map below, boxed green sites are available for transient rental only. There are a couple more yearly sites available for rental for May 15, 2025-May 15, 2026. The rate for an annual site with water, electric, and sewage is $1650. Please contact us if you would like an annual site for 2025.

Reservations are required. Choose from the green sites below and contact the camp. This does not guarantee that the site is not rented out for the weekend, so please have a backup site in mind when calling. Two night minimums are required for holiday weekends. Payment is required when a reservation is made. Cancel more than one week prior - refund less a $5/site fee. Cancel less than one week prior - refund less one night's fee/site. No Show - No Refund.
