There is so much going on at camp in late winter and spring! We have something for everyone, from our Junior and Junior High retreats to our Annual Fundraiser dinner, to super fun weekends like Quilt and Craft Camp, Herpetology Retreat, and Breakfast with the Birds bird walk! What is Camp Blue Diamond?
Located in Central PA near State College and Altoona, Camp Blue Diamond is a year-round, ACA accredited, Christian camp and retreat center.
Camp Blue Diamond will offer co-ed residential, adventure and family summer camps for children, youth and adults in 2025. Registration begins in January. Visit the Summer Camp tab to find information about summer camp and to register. We are home to the Centre County Camp Cadet and Penn State's Shaver's Creek Outdoor School.
Blue Diamond has a lodge, cabins, pavilions and a 46 site RV & tent campground available to family, church, school and not-for-profit groups for rental. We have great spaces if you are traveling to Penn State for games, concerts, or graduation and looking for a quiet place to stay overnight. Camp can accommodate up to 180 guests. Alcohol, vaping, tobacco, and motorized recreational vehicles are not permitted. Pets only in the RV campground. Firearms only allowed by hunters during hunting season. Are you interested in volunteering at Camp Blue Diamond? Maybe you have extensive experience in painting or improving a building, or maybe you just want to come help prepare our bulk mailings to be sent out. Either way, we would love the extra help. For general volunteering please fill out the interest form linked below and a staff member will be in touch. Camp Blue Diamond is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and therefore depends on donations and gifts to keep Camp running at its full potential.
