While donating to specific campaigns and fundraising efforts are current, tangible giving opportunities, we invite you and your loved ones to consider Planned Giving options that offer further reach and impact into the future of the ministry of Camp Blue Diamond and may be more beneficial for you and your family.

Planned Giving allows you or your estate to gift appreciated assets you currently own to Camp Blue Diamond while providing you and your loved ones with tax and income benefits in the process.

Leaving a legacy gift to benefit an organization you love and support become foundation blocks for the future and an avenue to save resources at the same time. See below what language to include in your will for bequest gifts.

Sample Language for a Gift in a Will

Thank you for your interest in including Camp Blue Diamond in your estate plan. To make a gift in a will, it is helpful to answer “who”, “what”, and “what for.” The following language may be used to answer these questions:

You should identify “who” with this language:
”I give to Camp Blue Diamond, Inc. (FEIN 25-1562015), a non-profit, charitable organization in Petersburg, Pennsylvania..."
You can describe “what” you want to give with this language:
a) the sum of $________; or
b) ___ percent of my estate; or
c) all the rest, remainder and residue of my estate, including property over which I shall have power of appointment at my passing, after all debts, taxes, expenses and other bequests have been satisfied...;
Finally, you should describe what you want your gift to be for:
a) to foster and promote the growth, progress and general welfare of Camp Blue Diamond; or,
b) to be added to Camp Blue Diamond's scholarship fund for summer camp
