Senior Adult Day

May 30

People of all ages are invited to join us for a day of fellowship, inspiration, adventure and fun as we gather to see and hear about some amazing local history from Byron Smail.

While Byron's day job may be running his landscaping business, his passion rests in sharing local history. Byron has written two books on the area's unique history in the Iron industry. His books Iron Furnaces of the Cove and Blair County Iron explore many of the iron furnaces that were so common in the 1800s.

Byron will share not only the history of these iron furnaces, but also about the influence the furnaces had on the area and the impact that the workers made in America. Any fan of local history will be fascinated to hear about this area's rich history in the iron industry.

Registration begins at 9 am. We will have a time of worship and singing and time with Byron before lunch. Then in the afternoon there will be time for activities of your choosing: camp tour, climbing the climbing tower and zipline, craft, and relaxing. Cost for the day is $20 and includes a morning snack, programming and lunch. You can register by sending in the flyer below or clicking the "Register now" button.

Hoss Fundraiser Day

June 8

Join us on June 8 at Hoss's for our Hoss Day Fundraiser! Simply print the ticket below, give it to your friends, family, and congregation before arriving at Hoss's, then present the ticket when ordering. Participating Hoss's are Huntingdon, Bedford, Duncansville, and Lewistown. Camp then receives 20-25% of the total bill! Simple as that. Spread the word!

Heritage Fair: Sept. 20, 2025

Camp Blue Diamond / Middle PA District Festival

We can't wait to see you soon for another wonderful Heritage Fair! The day is full of activities and goodies for people of all ages! Heritage Fair is a joint fundraiser between Camp Blue Diamond and the Middle PA District Church of the Brethren. Each year the district churches set up a booth that has food or items for sale, activities, or demonstrations. All proceeds are donated to Camp and the District, so anything you purchase has a direct and lasting impact! These funds help make summer camp affordable for everyone and keep Camp a peaceful place for retreat year round. It also helps the district provide support, resources, and programs for pastors, churches, and youth in the district.

There will be a breakfast served in the lodge from 6:30-8:30am on Saturday. The Polar Bear Plunge will be at 7 am at the lake, with a $50 entry fee. You can sponsor someone else to take the plunge or do it yourself! Most booths and activities are open from 8:30-3. The dunk tank begins at 9am, featuring many past camp staff and supporters. The Ministry Support auction under the big tent is 11-1, and the Pumpkin events (Punkin Chunkin contest and pie eating contest) in the afternoon!

The children's area will include peace flag making, toss games, a bounce house, scarecrow making, sawdust pile with hidden coins, and cookie painting! All kinds of food such as many kinds of soup, apple butter, apple cider (made on the spot with the cider press!), ice cream, fudge, hot sausage, walking tacos, ox roast, woodfired pizza, and lots more will be available for purchase! There will also be homemade crafts and home items for sale. The auction will feature all kinds of baskets with different items.

We are still looking for some volunteers in areas such as parking, helping with the auction, taking a shift at Camp's booths, or helping in the children's activity area. Contact us if you are interested in helping with any of these for an hour or so!

Sorry, no pets, alcohol, or weapons allowed on premises. Thank you for supporting these two awesome ministries!

Junior Retreat

Jan. 30 - Feb. 1, 2026

What do you think of when you see the word “Wilderness”? Do you think of unexplored places on Earth? Do you think about Camp and all the wonderful woods around us? Maybe you think about Bible Stories like Jesus wandering through the wilderness for 40 days? All those things would be correct! The wilderness can be a physical place, but it can also be a way that we feel. Whether we’re walking in the woods or just going through a tough time, God reminds us that we are not traveling alone. Join us for our Junior Retreat and find out more about what it means to be “In the Wilderness”!

This retreat is for grades 3-5. Cost is $75, but get a discount if you register by January 16th! There will be singing, games, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and a campfire! Come see your favorite camp counselors and make a new friend or two! See you there! Register online or download the flyer below and mail it in.

Junior High Retreat

Feb. 13-15, 2026

All 6-8 graders are invited to the Junior High Retreat! Join us as we welcome special guest Pastor Steve Keim! Steve is the pastor of the Beech Run Church of the Brethren. The theme for the weekend will be "Identity in Christ." We live in a world focused on the way things look. It can be easy to feel like we lack community just because we don't dress, act, or look a certain way. But as Christians, we are called to welcome each other in, not by the standards of this world, but by our belief in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5;7 reminds us that "We live by faith, not by sight." When we journey with other believers we never need to worry about fitting in. Join us and learn more about your own "Identity in Christ."

Cost is $85, but pay only $80 if you register by Jan. 30th! There will be singing, games, a campfire, outside fun, arts and crafts, and your favorite camp counselors! Register online or download the flyer below and mail it in.

Youth Retreat

Feb. 27- Mar. 1, 2026

All 9-12 graders are invited to the Youth Retreat Feb. 27-Mar 1! Join us as we welcome special guest Ryan Braught! Ryan is the Pastor/Church planter of the Veritas Church in Lancaster, PA. In Luke 15, Jesus tells three stories about losing something important. These parables aren't about losing something material; they're really about those times when we might feel lost in our faith journey. Join us as we dive deeper into these stories and learn more about how to find ourselves in Christ once again. This weekend promises to hold some big laughs, plenty of fun, and lots of friends both old and new! We hope to see you there!

Cost is $95, but pay only $90 if you register by Feb. 13th! There will be singing, games, crafts, night game and a Coffeehouse with karaoke. If the weather is right we will be sled riding! Register online or download the flyer below and mail it in.
